Today, ForceMetrics takes the next step in our mission to transform public safety data into actionable insights that save lives and build trust. By joining Mark43, we are accelerating our efforts with the reach and resources of our combined companies, and we will do so with a team that shares our vision of helping public safety agencies make better use of their information to save lives and build trust.
As we work together, it’s important to note that we’re still ForceMetrics. Same people building it, same people supporting you, same product, and same mission.
ForceMetrics started with a team of founders who shared a vision for how public safety could make better use of its data. Together, Chris Kersulic, Brendan Cronin, Shane McGregor, Jason Truppi and I built that vision into a product alongside our customers, learning from the challenges they face and what they need most in the moments that matter.
Here’s the problem we set out to solve years ago, and it hasn’t changed: Data silos create blind spots. Most systems out there are built for analysts, not for the officer standing at a door, and nobody has time to log into all of them just to find one answer. We wanted to pull it together and get the right information to that officer’s fingertips at the moment they actually needed it, without having to dig for it.
I’ve watched this play out in a lot of different rooms with a lot of different people. A mental health co-responder wants to know if an individual in need has had prior services provided before they walk up to a door. A chief deputy gets a question about a neighbor dispute and, instead of shrugging, types a word or two and has the whole history in front of him in seconds. An auto theft commander is chasing a fake license and needs to see every report that name has ever touched, in real time, as the case is still moving.
Completely different roles and uses, all getting powerful results from the same tool. That has always been the point. It’s not built for one unit or one kind of case. It’s built so whoever’s asking gets an answer instead of a guess, right now, not after the fact. And a real answer, in that moment, is what gets you a more confident response and a safer outcome, for the officer and for the community.
That’s really what this comes down to. Mark43 is already where officers do the work. Together, we can put the right data in front of them, at the right time, in the right workflow. That starts with getting information quickly, accurately, and compliantly, into the record, the report, the case. From there, we act on it in real time, connecting to your other systems as it comes in, so it’s useful right when it matters, not after someone goes looking for it.
What does this mean for you?
If you’re a ForceMetrics customer already on Mark43, over time you’ll get more. Tighter integrations to bring ForceMetrics operational intelligence directly and seamlessly into more parts of Mark43’s CAD, RMS and OnScene tools that you already use today.
If you’re a ForceMetrics customer and not on Mark43, we’re still agnostic to whatever systems you’re running. You’re still getting the same product you signed up for, and you can expect faster innovation to help with your mission.
And if you’re a Mark43 customer not yet using ForceMetrics, I look forward to meeting you and showing you how ForceMetrics can make your Mark43 data, and information from your other systems, even more powerful to help you in your mission.
The same founders who started ForceMetrics — Chris, Brendan, Shane, Jason, and myself — remain at the helm to continue innovating alongside our customers, partners and most importantly, the communities they serve.
We built ForceMetrics because public safety professionals were stuck with tools that weren’t built for the job. Joining Mark43 just means we can accelerate the work we are doing to build safer, more trusting communities.
