Hemet Police Department: How Mark43 Powers Faster, Smarter Response

The Hemet Police Department is committed to keeping their California community safe every day. Like many departments, they needed a data-driven solution to improve response times, solve cases more effectively, and strengthen community engagement.

With the Mark43 Public Safety Platform, Hemet PD has transformed their operations. Chief Michael Arellano and Captain Glen Brock highlight how Mark43’s modern, cloud-native tools—like CAD, RMS, Analytics, and OnScene—provide real-time support, seamless updates, and robust security without downtime.

“Mark43 is always there—answering calls, coming onsite to work with our officers and dispatchers,” Chief Arellano says. “Our updates are done continuously, their done quickly, and they don’t result in any downtime for our 911 center or officers. This means we’re getting our officers back on the streets a lot faster.”

Mark43 OnScene and CarPlay have been essential in enhancing the mobility, situational awareness, and overall safety of Hemet PD officers as they serve the community.

As Captain Brock puts it: “Every officer has a cellphone and most cars have some type of media display. To be able to take the information from Mark43 CAD and display that on CarPlay— for law enforcement it’s going to be a game changer.”

“Being able to access the platform on their mobile phones or tablet is very helpful out in the field. It gives officers more time to be out there, making arrests, and less time having to come back to the station to do internet searches, running people or having to look for information,” says Lieutenant Josiah Douglas.

With Mark43 OnScene and CarPlay, officers have Mark43 CAD and RMS at their fingertips while they are on the go, keeping them in the community helping people.
