Senior Sales Enablement Manager

Location: US – NY, Boston or Remote

Mark43's mission is to empower communities and their governments with new technologies that improve the safety and quality of life for all. We build powerful, scalable, and elegant software that sets a new standard for the tools upon which our first responders rely. Our users are diverse, and we are therefore committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team.

We are looking for a Senior Sales Enablement Manager to join our Marketing team. You will be instrumental in equipping our sellers with the tools, knowledge, and strategic guidance they need to consistently perform at a high level. Your work will directly influence the efficiency and impact of our go-to-market efforts, playing a key role in enabling us to bring mission-critical technology to public safety agencies across the globe.

What You’ll Do

If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week:

  • Designed and rolled out a new onboarding curriculum for Account Executives and Account Managers, helping new hires get up to speed faster and more confidently
  • Partnered with Marketing and Product Marketing to refresh sales playbooks and ensure alignment on messaging, value propositions, and competitive positioning
  • Interviewed customers to determine what Mark43 can do to make their buying process easier, and work with cross-functional teams to address these issues
  • Led a training session on objection handling techniques, integrating real-world scenarios gathered from recent sales calls
  • Audited the usage of our sales enablement tools and proposed new workflows to improve content discoverability and efficiency
  • Reviewed operational metrics with Sales leadership and proposed data-driven enablement initiatives to support problem areas across the sales cycle.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Enablement Manager with 8+ years of professional experience in sales enablement and B2B sales. You’ve worked closely with Sales and Marketing teams and understand how to craft programs that truly move the needle.   You have experience building scalable and repeatable enablement programs to support a fast-moving team at a hypergrowth company.  Experience with CRM and enablement tools (like Salesforce, Salesloft, etc.) is beneficial, as is a knack for distilling complex concepts into practical training.

People who thrive on our team also tend to share the following characteristics:

  • Humble, open, and curious. You love learning from others, testing ideas, and iterating based on feedback.
  • Collaborative. You enjoy working cross-functionally and are energized by aligning different stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Strategic. You’re always looking for patterns in the data and turning insights into actionable programs.
  • Self-motivated.  You work well in teams, but you lead from the front and drive projects rather than just support them.

We have offices located in New York and Boston and we embrace a remote-friendly working culture within approved U.S. states. Occasional travel for team gatherings or sales events may be required.

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a target base annual salary range of $125,000-$150,000, plus bonus opportunity, company stock options, and a full benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan. Please note that the higher end of this range will be reserved for candidates with appropriate experience who reside in high cost of labor markets.
