Montville Township Police Department Partners with Mark43 for Public Safety Technology Upgrade

Legacy on-premises systems replaced with modern, cloud-native CAD, RMS, Analytics and OnScene mobile app for enhanced officer mobility, resilience and security

NEW YORK – October 16, 2024 – Mark43, the leading cloud-native public safety software provider, today proudly announced its partnership with the Montville Township Police Department, bringing the Mark43 Public Safety Platform, inclusive of computer-aided dispatch (CAD), records management system (RMS), analytics, and OnScene mobile application to Montville, New Jersey.

Prior to partnering with Mark43, Montville relied on legacy, outdated on-premises CAD and RMS systems. Mark43’s cloud-native solutions offer the highest levels of compliance, resilience, and security against today’s emerging threats, from natural disasters to cyberattacks and data breaches. As one of the few agencies operating independently from the Morris County system, this upgrade positions Montville at the forefront of public safety and data compliance in New Jersey.

Andrew Caggiano, Chief of Police, Montville Township Police Department said, “It was time for a tech overhaul, and Mark43 emerged as the clear partner to get the job done. By upgrading to Mark43’s cloud-native CAD and RMS solutions, we are enhancing our operational efficiency, reducing risk of cybersecurity breaches, and reinforcing our commitment to our officers and community. Mark43 will empower our agency with real-time data sharing, streamlined communication, and access from anywhere, ultimately making Montville a safer place for everyone.”

The Mark43 Public Safety Platform is the real-time operating system for all agencies. Its CAD is built with the dispatcher in mind and ensures critical data reaches the right hands at the right time. This user-friendly, adaptable solution will improve response times and safety outcomes for the Montville community. Mark43 RMS streamlines report writing, freeing officers to focus on mission-critical fieldwork. Notably, Montville Township PD will leverage Mark43 OnScene – the cloud-native mobile solution that provides unparalleled situational awareness and officer-based GPS tracking, enabling rapid responses and closer collaboration among dispatchers and officers, regardless of location.

Bob Hughes, CEO of Mark43 said, “Under Chief Caggiano’s leadership, the Montville Township Police Department is modernizing its operations to enhance public safety. We’re proud to provide the Mark43 platform to support their efforts in setting a new standard for efficient, data-driven policing. With Mark43, they will access information faster, respond more effectively, and collaborate in real time, all in service of public safety.”

Powered by AWS GovCloud, Mark43 is dedicated to implementing the latest security advancements, including encryption standards that exceed CJIS requirements and other regulations. As a FedRAMP and StateRAMP High Authorized vendors, Mark43 provides the highest level of controls, offering peace of mind and exceptional protection against cyber threats for our customers.

This partnership not only reinforces Mark43’s commitment to transforming public safety in New Jersey but also positions the Montville Township Police Department as a leader in modern, precision policing.
